Mitt model holds plenty of air that insulates and suits those who are looking for an extra warm mitt. Palm and exposed surfaces are made of impregnated goat leather while the backhand is made of flexible and weather resistant softshell fabric. A fleece liner with synthetic insulation keeps fingers warm even at low temperatures, and can easily be removed to wash or dry. You can also exchange the insulation with a thinner liner to adjust the warmth if you are hiking and sweating more, for example. A wrist strap reduces the chances of dropping the glove if you have taken it off to ajust your equipment, for example. A carabiner is also included along with an eyelet and hanging loop, providing several attachment options. The reMix Mitt is a hardwearing mitten made from waste materials – treated goatskin and cowhide which wouldn’t otherwise be used in ordinary production. Using leather with minor visual defects or variations in colour is a way of helping to reduce waste without compromising on function or quality. The design is classic with a short cuff and elasticated wrist, with sections in contrasting colours creating an attractive, unique look. The wool liner is removable, making it easy to wash or dry. When the liner is worn out, it can be replaced – another way of using our resources sustainably. Note: Because this mitten is made from waste materials, it is only available in a limited edition.
